Although the original article has since been removed, The Raw Story and other news websites posted this story about a judge whose suggestion that lesbians join the armed forces so they can be "cpnverted" by male soldiers has been drawing ire across the interwebs. The comment section on the Pink News website posting of the story is particularly impassioned.

I am absolutely infuriated over this! And how did these views get this guy a job as a part-time magistrate?
ReplyDeleteI noticed how he attributes "the gays" at spreading diseases (maybe homosexuality?), when a lot of straight females and males get the disease anyway...if people use safe sex and are smart about it, then HIV/AIDs wouldn't be as big of an issue. Going back on topic though, his whole argument seemed to me that women must be lesbians because they've never had "good sex" before from a "real man." Thus, the male "warriors" in the military would know how to give good sex, and thus be able to turn the women straight--that's how I saw it, but I do not agree with it at all.
