Thanks for posting all your comments on Rescue Me; very thoughtful stuff. Please feel free to respond to one another, too.
I am going to be away through Tuesday so my email access may be limited. BUT my St. Rose account is now up and running, and the email address is aloim@strose.edu. Please feel free to start using it. I will try to get us set up with Blackboard over the coming week and will post here when it's ready. In the meantime, check in here at the blog, I may post some readings for you.
I wanted to mention, WINTER'S BONE, which is playing at the Spectrum now, is a wonderful film and deal with gender roles in some interesting ways. I also saw COCO CHANEL & IGOR STRAVINSKY, and found it beautiful and compelling, and full of commentary on gender.
You have a few days to see and write on your films; please try to post your reviews by September 15th (which is a Wednesday). I'll post some additional guidelines here well before that deadline.
